ok so ive been a bit tired with the same old, same old so i attempted to write a shakespearian sonnet for the first time in my life. Please dont just tell me what i want to hear, if somethings not good, let me know so i can fix it. i posted this in the teen forum but i wanted some older opinions too so thanx to whoever replies! xoxo, Jaki H ____________________________________________ How shall I show thee how much I do care For you, my love, are all that I desire Thy smile is warm, and skin so soft and fair Forever will my heart burn passion’s fire To lie in bed and hold you close to heart The tingle of thy breath upon my neck Sculptures entwined to mock platonic art Not two, but one embarking on life’s trek But love extends much farther than the touch In sooth, our minds and souls were formed the same And lover using lover as a crutch, All secrets told and loyalties proclaimed Though time corrodes youth’s passion to a dust, Eternal love is far more than youth’s lust [This message has been edited by Jaki H (08-25-2008 12:29 PM).] |
