The interim between the two like a slowly trickling stream and at the source a woman cries for she has no wish to so abide. She watches its measured flow till in a pool it gathers to simply house the fish and make the tourists shout. Look, Look! A pool unused but no one feeds the fish as if what lies and swims within must be self-sufficient. And so it is; there is no doubt that fish sustain their growth but tourists are a rowdy lot and chase the goodness out. So swims a fish within that pool of the interim between undisturbed and then in fright, certain and then in doubt, and the pendulum swings left/right from morn into the night. Now at the source a woman sighs for there amongst the tourists a friendly face of past delight that has no manner, means to cause the slightest ripple in that pool of in-betweens. This she knows and yet the soul lonely at the source turns gratefully to meet his eyes while the stream of the interim trickles slowly every day into a pool unused! Helen / 23 August 2008 |

Melancholic ponderings, dear Helen! Great imagery. Your heart is in need of some joy, so you can aliment the pool with tears of happiness ... you have to take the leap. Waiting isn't love's characteristic, it is too precious to remain unused. Your pen is always a treat. Love and hugs. Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Thank you, Margherita. I'm so sorry if the wrong impression is given sometimes in my "stories". There is joy all around me. I see it and know it and appreciate it but within there's a different kind of joy that causes melancholy and I know that doesn't make sense. It drives me crazy trying to work it out! Love Helen |

Thank you, Lindsay. I myself try not to think too much but I guess it's implanted in the DNA or something so I'm stuck with it. Take care Helen |
