Bones had a lot of bones sticking out all over the place. If you looked at Bones, bones are what you saw. He always had this “starved” look about him. It just made you want to share a sandwich with him, or take him to a diner, and buy him a bowl of soup. One thing about those bones though, not a one of them was mean. Bones never hurt anyone. Nice to hear that Bones' bones induced true feelings of compassion and that he did not use them to hurt. You reminded me of what my Mom told me once. As a teenager she was very bony too and they mocked her saying that she hurt others when she accidentally came into collision ... as a round teenager I often thought I'd preferred her body constitution ... Vive la différence! Thank you, dear Bobby. Love, Margherita |

Bobby, I am very relieved (though not the least surprised) that not one of Bones' bones was mean, seeing that he and Flicka, my darling horse are in close contact together in Heaven. - Owl |

Thanks dear Margherita, It almost seems to be a rule of thumb, that those most despised by society, such as Bones, turn out to be the most generous and caring people. When we were kids, Bones and I shared food quite often. He was always generous. Love Bobby |

Thanks dear OwlSA, Yes, I can see them now. Bones and Flicka, tearing across those heavenly plains. Flicka's tail and mane, and Bone's long black hair, just flying in the wind. What a pair. Love Bobby |

It's amazing that Bones turned out to be a kind person in spite of his awful childhood. Ida |

Thanks dear Ida, Oh, I don’t know. It’s not that amazing when you think about it. Bones always did smile a lot, it’s part of the business. Remember also, Bones died when he was young. A lot of people who have had wonderful childhoods have turned into monsters. Look at George Bush. Love Bobby |
