I would like to thank my Mother India today, on 15th of August we celebrate our Independence Day. O My Mother India today with pride i salute, I stand. i take a bow. In this poem i tried my best to give a glimpse of India. Hope you all will enjoy the journey. Welcome to my Incrediable India.Jai Hind
Painting by me in Mspaint.
My Motherland
My land of brave, valiant kings, My land of beautiful queens, My land where sweet mynah’s sings, Here laymen work like machines.
My land of breath taking majestic hills, My land where great rivers flow, My land with abundant untamed skills, My mother India to you I take a bow.
From Jammu and Kashmir our crown, To Punjab the wheat basket of the world, The deserts of Rajasthan are golden brown, To Gujarat from where nonviolence unfurled.
From Maharashtra’s Humchi Mumbai, To versatile Karnataka’s Bangaluru, Our friendly Communist Kerala Bhai, Tamil Nadu filled with pundits and gurus.
From Andhra Pradesh’s spicy food, To Madhya Pradesh’s Sanchi Stupa, The great Red fort of Delhi include, Agra’s Tajmahal belongs to the wonders groupa.
From Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, To Bihar’s ancient Mauryan empire, The Orissa’s Konark Temple glow, To West Bengal classical Tagore’s fire.
From all Seven Sister States, To the Bay of Bengal salt, To the Indian Oceans Palk Straits, On the Arabian Sea I halt.
A wonderful glimpse of my land, In this poem I hope I was able to show, Today in respect I salute I stand, My mother India to you I take a bow.
