I walk this lonely road while far behind me, lost in time's cryptic shadow, are my fruitless dreams. Cloud-darkened, storm-tossed, a sullen, lowering sky spurs my step along the path. Silence reigns sublime and speaks, eloquently, of a long, quiet time alone, the tears shed alone, the dreams dead. I walk this lonely road, and softly, now, my footfalls echo your leaving, the hollow feeling that remains. Still my spirit yearns for peace, for my mind to grant release, the bliss of ignorance, the stillness of nothingness where limits hold not the will To be, to be, to be.... Speak your truth quietly and clearly; |

Still my spirit yearns for peace, for my mind to grant release, the bliss of ignorance, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm understanding the feeling more than I care to. Your poetry is very expressive and I like that, even when it's sad, it's all good. |
