Only a year old and already ripped. Ripped not at the knee or the tops of the thighs, but ripped in places that cannot be fixed. Holes are closed up with safety pins, the individual threads clustered in a mess. The material is pulled taunt against my body, but flares out at the knee. Unwearable in public for the position of the tears, from wearing it constantly that they had to be warshed over and over again, the jeaned material becomming weak, and the threads no longer want to stay together. Fit me perfectly, the jeans did. Soft to the touch, light blue, Febreezed scent, with worn, tattered cuffs, a tear at the upper-inner though, and a vertical rip on the seat. My favorite pair of jeans, now unwearable to the public. |

Had a favorite shirt that was wearing a little thin and I kept wearing it. One day it ripped right down the back...James |

smiling...there's just something about those jeans... a certain comfort of familiar touch. Honestly. It becomes a ...relationship! Understanding this one, hon. |

Whoot! I love that you guys can relate to this poem. Why don't you take the wet jeans off? lol. I went on a trip once to Morgantown, and it was raining, we had to walk through the rain to get to the football stadium, but I wanted to be "close to nature" so I refused a poncho when it was offered to me...and my clothes got plastered to my body, EVERYTHING was wet. I guess I should have looked out the window to see how MUCH it was raining...but yeah, that's my wet clothes story. |
