Your heart shines With the glow of The rose I gave you Today is the day that won’t pass by The song I have heard Makes you the most precious thing in my life It talked about everything we need Everything we have to try for Its life sometimes it isn’t fair I called you and got a busy tone I started heading home And you gave me a moment to think of everything I gave you when I went in I thought I could feel comfort But that is gone I felt minutes wasting away When I was left standing here alone You shot me and I thought I was going To die and lose my heart but Now I have something to let me keep rolling by I have something now that I’m gone I’m driving down the street without a name Every street has a turn with a board that has its name Every street has been traveled down The last road was a dead end Now I have to turn it around And look for a new road to travel I left and turned towards home Until the girl here told me to stay She told me to pull to the side And figure out what’s in the way I need to move on Before everything has noting left for me I thought I could feel comfort But that is gone I felt minutes wasting away When I was left standing here alone |
