A Gift Wrapped in Frustration She likes to have him receive all your attention While you wander without mention While you sink into a trench then- Ponder on hypertension, I, Will redesign my mind To walk a fine line And unwind, Ink and nice rhymes have prevented large crimes, So, Suppress hard times, Keep me away from diamond watches, This anger has got me heated, Turn me down a couple notches. Love: Tears gift wrapped in frustration With a side of lost patience, Pain, hurt and agony All reside Adjacent, Eat at your life until all feel complacent. I'm not falling now, That's like letting what's inside Make you commit suicide In the foundation that you reside. Very few will look at this poem as inspirational, There's pain here, So I'm doing this to be confrontational, I know I'm not confronting But I'm definitely saying so. Now... Don't really consume what I speak, Don't mind my utterance, I'm paying debts Fixing dents, Just ignore until a summer hence. |

I enjoyed this. very cynical : ) I particularly liked this stanza: Love: Tears gift wrapped in frustration With a side of lost patience, Pain, hurt and agony All reside Adjacent, Eat at your life until all feel complacent. |
