. The next group Like those before Is again gathering There are no Long goodbyes It’s been some time In expectation— And everyone here Has since dispensed With what they feel They’ll never Or no longer need So for each there are Very few souvenirs A moment or two As traveling light Seems at last To be the most Appropriate guide The sun descends On a single Cardinal’s wings Slowly finally Another autumn moon Passes beyond the sea . |

an exceptional 'penning'!... I am GRANDLY fond of: "...for each there are Very few souvenirs A moment or two As traveling light Seems at last To be the most Appropriate guide The sun descends On a single Cardinal’s wings Slowly finally Another autumn moon Passes beyond the sea" now THAT is fine writing! v. serious and long-sustained applause! |
