I walked around whistling With a tune you might want to listen It’s a story of you You’re the girl I first laid eyes on Your eyes are diamond stone We’ll never be through You’re my treasure I want you to listen Every time I try and catch your name Nobody will ever let my ears hear that sweet rhythm Each day the odds grow smaller To hear that rhythm of your name Nobody wants to live like I do Longing for that heart everyday Nobody wants to help out So I have to go on my own and find it Before some other people do |
