Love can seem distorted when distance mars the tone
and this life of physical sings unaccompanied
and yet in the knowing of true harmony
a woman still can be in a state of need.

There’s an everlasting need to uplift from ignorance
the one who sleeps content on a bed of lies
and to implant in a mind’s freedom to decide
the wish to arrive at the door of happiness.

But the teddy bear sings Jingle Bells all the live long day
when pressed to so conform with outdated beliefs
and this imperfection a discordant and harsh
overthrow of dulcet tones emanating from the soul.

I find my foot tapping though to this reality
that repeats and repeats what it is I must receive
but I plan to press the paws of that grizzly teddy bear
hard and harder still when next the tone of soul
demands to be heard above life’s cacophony.

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to love a stuffed teddy bear
programmed to repeat, repeat, and not move an inch
from the comfort of a bed made to not ere satisfy!

I find it so interesting the things that draw the subconscious into recognition, it seems that even aggravation can be so beautiful in it's own setting of familiarity.

Excellent write!
