Silence is not golden. It is just silence. Yet it can seem more deafening than a thousand loud screams in the darkest of nights. It can feel cold, overwhelming, frightening, when you want a warm cozy comforter. But it is simply silence. If the imagination fills in all the blanks when one is surrounded by silence, it pays to remember the blanks may not be real. The best place to appreciate silence is to sit out in the outback on a starry night and soak up the reverence that one feels. It's times like that when silence is golden. Love to you dear Kacy. Lindsay |
