Odd Job Man A rather charming young lady said to her spouse, “Please fix the toilet, for its service is long overdue, He was running quite late and using no nous Said,“Do I look like a plumber to you.” Next morning the same thing happened again, She said,“That rubbish shouldn’t be out there on view,” “I certainly haven’t got time,” he tried to explain, “But do I look like a rubbish collector to you.” Next day when hubby came home from work, A bit late as he’d been working overtime, He said,“I see you got a handy man in for the jobs, Well that’s good, because I never had time.” “Oh no,” said the wife,“but our neighbour next door Said he’d fix everything if I’d bake him a pie, Either that or entertain him here on the floor, And you wouldn’t fix the problems, you cannot deny.” “Ah well he’s fixed them,” hubby said with relief, Then, “what sort of pie did you cook for young Hugh,” Answered the wife, with a very smug look on her face, “Do I look like a baker to you.”. |

Ha. this is a proper Aussie poem isnt it. I could sort of hear your accent through it which made it funnier. Nice one. |
