Ramshackle…it’s a beautiful thing.

Sleep-walking
slumber bumbling and stumbling
across my efforts to perfect a prefect.
Knee jerk reaction to a simpleton
who’s idiocy is an idiom.
Idiolect, windswept from phase to phase;
phrase to phrase,
“Are you experienced”?
No, but I am delirious,
the vertigo hits me like a brick.
I enjoy the feeling of being dizzy
and miss it when it’s away.
Stress test,
touch the Nexus
and hex these vexed jesters
in wild unhinged gestures.

Philisophes don’t know the half of it.
The math of it to take a stab at it.
Or a crack at it, it’s fiction from fact,
in fact, don’t even bother with it.

Well equipped to deal with life’s little bothers
while standing on an edge with the dignity of a wiser man.
Goes at least some way towards explaining my moniker.
An artist starved for a smoke and a piece of bread,
YES!
That’s what I said and what I meant,
there is no “depends.”

Questions?
I thrive on the asking,
but often find that the answers are lacking.
And when they’re on break from attacking
they are lazy and tacky
so I roll them up and smoke them up,
hoping to inherit a bit of common wisdom.

Senseless,
blindfolded and shackled to the mirror.
Ironic twist binding wrist to the unimaginable.
Cavemen are not animals;
though they dwell in carnivals.
And I try to quell the desire to arm them for rebellion.

Soup kitchen denizen carving idols out of butter.
Muttering in word salad grabbed from someone else’s tray.
“SOUPS UP!”
Now the kitchen’s locked
so stave off your hunger.

Ontology phrased negations,
does it taste bittersweet in the least?
Join the feast, pitter-patter
climb the ladder to the aesthetic attic.
Hear that sound?
It’s static,
erratic in every fashionable sense.

Nobody ever finally looses their soul- they only piss away 99/100's of it.

How intriguing...

I went back to find a line, but it's woven artfully, I dared not pull a piece.

(Love the bukowski siggie too)

Much enjoyed. Welcome!

Ain't that the truth.

Fantastic piece of writing.
