She clings
to old taverns
bloated court jesters
and waterfall portraits
that flatter
her folliage

On her leaf crumpled branches

O how she shivers

but balances moonlight
on the toe where she's tipping
her solataire limb
extends, on its tier

the other one's sorrow
shedding her seasons
in sync, and repenting
as the western winds
rally

growing out past
the sidewalks

from networks
that bind them

they are my sisters
they are my seers.

Brings images of Autumn in the south and many memories of the wind tossing spanish moss around as if the trees themselves were swinging their hair to get attention.  Lovely write.

I like the way you draw pictures with your words for all of us to see.  Lovely
