I don't know who told you
but the birds told me
that no matter the what you think
rivers don't have to die at sea.

Some people fall in love and touch the sky, some people fall in love and find quicksand.

Paul,

What you say is very true.

Some rivers die in lakes, and some die in rivers.  I'm trying to remember a poem, I think written by Carl Sandburg about rivers in Minneapolis, Minn.

I like your poem about rivers.  My Delaware River dies in Delaware Bay.
