No Return The late Autumn view winnows and empties into Winter's eternal void of frozen rock and bare-bone trees, huddled together under indifferent stars in this thin-cold moonlight, where even my shadow seems spent and wasted by relentless care and remorseless Time, along this final unchosen path of no return. --- b. e. adams (11/12/08) |

Yo Secondhanddreampoet, There is no such thing as an "unchosen path of no return." It just sometimes feels that way. Bobby |

I guess I feel that we do return though I'm not sure that's a cheerful thought either. Anyway, Bruce, your poems just can't get sad enough to hide their beauty and truth. Ida |
