Winter's Void Late Autumn leaves and mist dance in spiraling wisps (by the tune of a frosty wind) onto this river of lost Summer dreams and memories of Spring, flowing forever... into Winter's void. --- b. e. adams (11/11/08) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (11-11-2008 05:54 PM).] |

Oh my, November sure brings some melancholic tunes onto these pages. And you are a Master in rendering this melancholy. Beautiful! Love, Margherita |

When one is feeling down, the bleakness of an impending winter can add to those feelings. However, the converse is also true. If one is in a happy state, one can look forward to the pristine beauty of winter and all the joyful possibilities. I can empathize and appreciate your melancholy poem, for I felt that way once during a difficult time in my life. Linda |
