Bones has a straight razor
in his pocket.

He keeps it there
just in case
he ever runs across
the guy that first did him
when he was a kid.

Somebody else probably already took him out.  Hope Bones can refocus on something more doable and more rewarding.

Striking read!

Thanks dear Bridget,

For the kind words on this poem.

I hope someone has taken him out.  Bones probably wouldn't recognize the guy, it's been so many years ago.

Love Bobby

Quote " the guy that first did him when he was a kid " this implies a sexual act was committed.

Why would anyone carry a razor if not to harm someone else?

Anyway what is done is done...Paul

Thanks Paul Wilson,

Exactly.

Thanks for reading and commenting.
That reminds me, I want to sharpen my knife.  I like to be able to shave with it.

Good poem.

And on the knife, and being able to shave with it...

Thanks very much Paul,

For the kind words on the poem, and on my knife.

I've always had a knife fetish.  I have a collection of woodcarving chisels.  I keep those sharp too.

Shaving is a very clever way of avoiding censorship. Education is great no matter where it comes from.
