As Time comes near She wraps herself a triology of treasures as time comes near of season's embers sent to go the burgundys and persimmons that roam on stones the remnants of once her thriving wares and dulcet tones that sang upon her broken bough of roots to keep her sane when frost conceals her virgin glow as time comes near she feels it in the earth's rotation that brews beneath the change to stark her days of green soon to slumber amid the songbirds as they sojourn south [This message has been edited by Balladeer (11-23-2008 07:05 PM).] |

You know that is what I miss the most with the change to this season, the sound of the birds. You captured the feelings and transition so well. |

Your chosen words glorified the season's change, making even the sadly missed bird's song a thing of beauty. God bless, Rae |

I have a passion for nature and anything that adds emotions to it. You were excellent in achieving this making it so worth the read. Read it a second time aloud and it became even more enjoyable in doing so. You painted it, we viewed it and the scene was museum worthy. Well done. |
