of gold

he touched it,
brushing the ornament
of shells,
he'd handcrafted
for her

humbled and honored
when she confided
in him

of her secret.

This has a fun quality to it, and makes the reader want to know ... what is her secret. *wink*

This does beg the reader to guess, but my guess was so sad I don't wanna be right.
