 Welcome home, My Child You have been gone for far too long Rest your weary head upon my shoulder As I carry you into tomorrow Rest your tired feet And close your eyes There is nothing more to see For I am here to take care of you Welcome home, My Child I have been waiting for your return with open arms Do not worry I was not waiting long nor did my arms grow tired For you see, we have Eternity I have patience, when you have none For you see, I love you more than you can even begin to fathom Welcome home, My Child You are now safe in my arms The only time we waste is the time we spend thinking we are alone. |
