{I wrote this for my friend Angelique, an Aussie girl from New South Wales who role plays online as Gaia Hecate, Princess-Sorceress.} Gaia's Storm Where have you gone O, Angelique? The wind of the Western Desert Brings your scent Within it's rushing heat, Sweeping across The brush strewn plains, Exhaling your name In the rustling Of the sun-browned leaves. O, Angelique... The night sounds of the jungle Cease in silent wonder As the essence of your poetry Permeates, Piercing the magic covering Of the forest's thriving life. O, Angelique... The brooks flow nearly backwards, And the rivers hesitate In disbelief, As the mantle of your rising Summons clouds to veil The sunrise in the East. O, Angelique... Would that your eyes Should rest upon This travelling soul, Wide and clear as a billabong-- Refreshing limbs And slaking desperate thirst With every drink. O, Angelique... where have you gone O, Angelique? And where are you going to As you blow across The wide down-under land, Enchanting and ensorcelling The natives with the kindness Of your brow, so high and sleek? O, Angelique... You are a mystery unsolved, And undiminished, As you blanket lands of Queens With your mystique. Angelique1.jpg 2008 By Angelique, "Gaia Hecate" ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

Yo XGarapanX, You’re lucky to have a friend like Angelique. I can tell you’re attached to her. Your poem is a lovely tribute to her. That’s very good. Bobby |

Thank you, Bobby. Yes, she made a serious impression on me. I was thoughtless to her when we first met in a chat because I thought she was being a ridiculous twinkie, and I hate twinkies. She just reached out a hand of friendship without a word of reproach and it made me speechless. Yes, I am a permanent "Angelique" fan now, and double guard myself against rash judgement because of her meek and gentle friendship. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

I have to admit - as nice as your poem is, and it is a touching tribute to her, something I hope and feel she would appreciate, but your humility in your words about how you got to know her, is even more touching. You are wise. |

Lady Grae, I assure you that I observe the rules of propriety in a very exacting way. There is no touching allowed. *stifles a giggle* ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

Oh, my dear, dear Gar - I am certain you are the proprietous type!!! (is "proprietous" a word???) And as wise and humble as the great Gar is, I see he is also silly! And I have to ask - what is a "twinkie" - I have never heard it used that way before - but I like it - it made me stifle my own giggle! |

Ah! Well, a twinkie is something less than a Poptart and more than a ditz. At least a Poptart has some substance and personality, just not as much as they think, whereas a ditz is a living example of how dumb a person can get and still breathe. Both have an excuse of sorts. A twinkie tends to be vain(ish) and is too silly to know how sincerely ridiculous they are. At least those are my personal definitions. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

So a twinkie is middle of the road... like a Popditz! So then I, the great Lady Grae, would qualify as the highest of the hierchy - a Poptart, I hope! lol |
