I always wonder about destiny and fate and chance and luck and how they play a part in our lives... the following thoughts fit nicely with my thinking..

It was a sunny day in Paris
And I was looking for coffee
and conversation to fill my day
I found your bar at the end of my street
You were smiling and speaking warmly
In French tones with the locals
I struggled with my French but you said
‘it’s OK, I speak English’
So I ordered a cafe creme (legere!) s.v.p.
You laughed out loud at my French
And ignored the others while you spoke with me
And I hoped it wasn’t too obvious
How I was smiling at the thought of being lost
In you

Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight.........

To know Paris is to know the truth of self betrayal.

Yo dear RDB,

Paris leaves vivid, happy memories for anyone who has ever visited the place.  It's a lovely place, full of lovely people.

Destiny is a VERY interesting thing isn't it? Just something to sit back and think about it all day, and of course fit some writing time in for poetry!
