O love; you sit me by your side
To view in joy of what could be
To feel that burning deep inside
And find a truth that’s part of me

O love, you make my veins all run
And heart to beat in different tune
My darker side to feel the sun
And lonesome side to find some room

O love, you speak with voice so sweet
And fill the air with beauties scent
My heart and yours to slowly meet
Entwined and blessed by heaven sent

O love, you give for just a while
And then your voice does whisper low
And in a while does fade your smile
And what we had does slowly go

O love, I seek you once again
You left without a word goodbye
And loneliness which brings the pain
Is taking space although I try

O love, why do you disappear?
And leave two souls to question why
To live the years with thought and fear
In wonder where to turn or cry

O love, O love, the years go on
But something deep stays warm from you
It lights a hope that shines upon
The love I had and once I knew

---------------

So now in dreams its love I see
To be with and her smiles to share
And if it must, that’s where we’ll be
Until I wake to find her there
