Cherubim and Seraphim
gently take Bones
by the hands.

Lead him up,
and right straight through
the pearly gates.

There’s a wild party going on,
and it’s all to say hello to Bones.

There’s all the food
he ever dreamt about,
and it’s all spread out for him.

He’s outfitted with just the clothes
that he really wants.

He’s warm and truly comfortable
for the first time in his life.

The Big Guy shakes Bone’s hand,
and tells him he can stay forever.

Tells Bones he’ll never be hungry,
cold, hot, or naked again.

The Big Guy never lies.

It’s all a great, big, glorious party.

This could be paradise for Bones as he imagined it when he was ill ... it's said, that when we move on we might find what we imagine before we move on.

I have an idea Bones loved the party too. He was immediately inducted into the Cherubim and Seraphim gang. He’s one of the thinner members.

I read your other poem, where Bones was ill, but had to rush, so didn't have time to reply.

It is kind of sad that Bones would have to wait until the after life for true happiness when this world is still full of joy to be found.
