.

A night bird
Calls outside
The bedroom
Window

Through which
As we rest
In each other’s
Shadow
We can see
A river of stars

In moonlight
Fading now
You will go
Until again
It is time
To dream

And with the dew
Still left at dawn
On autumn leaves
I will write your name

The end of this 'write' is especially grand-fine:

"In moonlight
Fading now
You will go
Until again
It is time
To dream

And with the dew
Still left at dawn
On autumn leaves
I will write your name"

serious and sustained applause!!

A fine romantic write, with fine imagery and 'tight' lines.
