Where no tyranny is tolerable

Rainbows

I just discovered emoticons,

those cutsie little things

you can make on the keyboard

and that sighted people can send to each other.

It shows here there is a menu of emoticons.

How could there be so very many emoticons?

Like how could there be a styles menu

of twenty-three different styles of writing?

Like, what on Earth is Arial, or times new roman writing?

Was that invented by the Romans, or what?

And who invented italics? The Italians?

I mean, as long as you can read the writing

what difference does it make

there may be 23 ways of writing it?
I mean, what?
23 different kinds of Braille?

Sounds crazy to me.

Okay, so anyway ... I was talking about rainbows ...

It says here that (r) is a rainbow?

Or maybe like this: (R) ?

A rainbow pic has a dot pattern in Braille.

The Chinese call rainbow

The Ti Chi, or Great Ultimate,

(pardon I don't know how to write Chinese)

celestial twine joining all opposites.

A rainbow is invisible to every other creature,

and would be invisible to humans

if it were not for Sunshine.

For it is She,

by Her reflected and refracted light

that makes a rainbow glow.

Maybe it is asking too much;

I don't really deserve it, ...

But would it be okay ...

can I dare to hope that ...

She might bend down and give me a rainbow?

Would she take me gently by the hand and lead me

to the eternal and ellusive pot of gold,

that only She can cause to shine?

But right now, I just got green gold

so I'm calling the Twin Dragon

to see what wonderful Chinese they have.

Sends you a full and tender body hug for 1 minute? 2 minutes? 3? ... 4???
And ever so reluctantly let you go, friend Ali ... ... ... ...

You cracked me up!

Had to come back to put the 'up' in  -  I forgot it and it sounded like that full body hug broke me.

Hugs backatcha,
A
