The Black Dog I can't get over it this feeling that consumes me it eats my soul bit by bit, can no one else can see ?. No sleep at night It gets angry now, I beg with all my might it would understand, somehow. But refusing to hear, it punctures my soul. Despite stinging tears it leaves a bleeding hole. Search for escape, hope, I can re-shape. No, it renders me weak, won’t allow me to seek. The Black Dog bites, my tears fall in vain. No relief in sight, Only grief,anguish, pain. Pleading for relief, if only I could speak as my happiness reverts, I stay humble, meek. I feel myself sway, my scent a disease so, who here would answer my most desperate pleas. What does it matter my life here on earth. It predictably shatters, after every rebirth. Forgotten, I give up hope letting my life go 'Black dog' chokes like rope, stabbing at my soul. Life apprehended Sanity suspended |
