Scum Such As This It was 1945 and Dr. Goebbel wasn't doing as well as he seemed to fare in those years prior to '45. Things were changing in the Political Arena and the Military Dictatorship and now Dr. Goebbell was considering a relocation to Argentina, where he could retire and blend in and perhaps pretend that he never knew what was happening in Germany in the 1940's, especially his part along with the likes of Hitler and Goring, in expediating the extermination of many millions and millions of Jews as if they were no better than rats. But alas, it didn't happen like that, for upon those days before Goebbel could leave Berlin, and before Gobbell could compel himself to leave his beloved Hitler, the Russians were rapidly closing in on Berlin and they had a few scores to settle with the likes of Hitler and Goebbel, and it would have been well if these men had never been born to spread their hatred and their sorrow upon a world that had their fill and were committed to capture or kill scum such as this. JamesLee 03October 2008 Scum of the Earth Triptych/Part 01 Hitler knowing his fate committed suicide in the Berlin Bunker on April 30, 1945. Shortly thereafter Goebbel did the same on May 01, 1945. |

What a shame that they didn't commit suicide ten years sooner James, we would all be better off. Lindsay |

Animals, Bobby? I thought you knew better than that. Animals know no sin and would never do what Hitler and his cohorts did. - Owl |

Indeed. When there are so many WWII documentaries on television, it is easy to lose sight of the humanity of it all (especially since most of them focus on military tactics rather than real life stories). Great spine chilling read. |

Death, self inflicted is often not enough for those who bring such terror and death upon innocent beings. |
