Water Flows Over old stones Not today Harvey Nor for some time To come It’s October now My favorite month With little patience For argument As to who or what Was wrong So if I say The moon was hers The stars Her faithful cavaliers There’ll be no objections To my words I decree She was beautiful Here and there A leaf or two Under an iron bridge . |
