Sigh, dear Yann, when science serves the evolution of mankind we just stand in awe, but when the human mind perceives the power to experiment and create without considering ethics we no doubt are running some high risks. Impactful write and thought provoking! Love, Margherita |

I loved the subject and the thought provoking write got me all fired up, very well done! One man said "Can we?", two said "We could..", three said "It's easy!", four said "We should..", five said "Lets do it!", six said "I'm in!", seven said "Ready!", eight, "Lets begin", nine, "Aren't we clever", ten..."Nothings at Fault" All..."We're so god-like!!" But no man said "HALT!" Regards OLIAS. |

Yann, I love the fact that you wrote about this very important subject. I agree with you and all the responses so far. No matter what the benefits, I think it is taking science too far away from what is natural. - Owl |

I know I am always in for a treat of one kind or another when I open one of your posts! The topic of your poem concerns me as well. I thought that I'd check out Wikipedia for the definition of GMO's and share it with your readers. "A genetically modified organism (GMO) or genetically engineered organism (GEO) is an organism whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. These techniques are generally known as recombinant DNA technology. With this technology, DNA molecules from different sources are combined into one molecule to create a new set of genes. This DNA is then transferred into an organism and causes the organism to acquire modified or novel traits." ~ They say you are what you eat, but what exactly are we eating?!? Love to you, Dear Yann! Hi Kaile, Hi Midnitsubn in my mind a process like that will surely extend to all kind of beings....So it is absurd just to begin it when you already know the "must be" logic and ending of it....Whatever thank you very much for your appreciated comments... yann |
