Bunnies in the Mist Light comes slowly crawling, Over the valley wide, Last evenings moon dips Below the trees, Drifting to the other side, The mist of an early fall, With hints of mountain pine, Shadows fade With the new sunrise, A morning so divine. In the hidden meadow, Wakes the fox and fawn, They quietly leave Their nightly sleep, Moving with the dawn, Through crisp fallen leaves of aspen, And frost upon the ground, They see a small White puff of cotton, Leaping with a bound, Misty fog moves slowly, Across the hills and dales, The bunnies are playing Hide and seek, But the only thing seen is their tails.
