Dan and Fernando's Girls

Dan was a secret agent man.
He was happy go lucky
not having a care in the world
except when he'd lay in bed at night
thinking about his lovely girl
that was halfway around the world
living in Chicago, right next to Fernando.
Fernando and Dan were the best of friends
even since they were roomates at Yale
and Fernando liked to tell his friend Dan
tales about the adventures of his girl,
who was best friends with Dans girl and
sometimes they got a little hairy.
Dan and Fernando's girls were
flight attendants with a major airline
which was good because sometimes
they would fly to Honolulu
and then Dan would be the man
taking his and Fernando's girl
to warm beaches to soak up some sun
and ride some curls and in the evening
eating and dancing were always on the menu.
In a few short days the fun was done
and the girls would have to run
back to Chicago and Fernando.
Now don't get me wrong
there was nothing unusual going on,
they both loved their lovely
girlfriends to the end of the world,
and on the nights when she wasn't near
Dan would lay in his bed thinking
about his Dear.
