Perchance to dream
-
(To Karl Klein and Hamlet)
“Is it earth, any perchance?”
“Have a sit.”
As if I have been welcoming
extraterrestrials all along.
“Is it this barren?”
“No, it is just my shape of earth.”

With a start I wake up.
Dawn, noon, mid noon,
afternoon and twilight are
dancing around me.
I step down to a verdant planet.
Only a bit of barren land
does  have a splinter of a laugh.
Somewhere inside.

Very interesting dream, dear Ku! Be careful, next time they might carry you with them for a real sight seeing tour among the stars! I love the idea of discovering a splinter of laugh somewhere inside.

Barren could refer to some frightening future, so better act before it is too late.

Very good job, dear Poet!

Love,

Interesting, Kushal.  I am intrigued by the last 3 lines . . .
