To Write A Love Letter A writing desk, perhaps antique. At any rate, of size sufficient to accommodate stamps, envelopes, stationary, not to forget a fountain pen instrumentally graceful, all this arranged with subtle art. And, of course, the chair itself thoughtfully placed near a window through which, depending on the time of month, help, in the form of moonlight, full or crescent, may be entreated. Tea? Yes. Green or black will make no difference, though I prefer that from the Orient, steeped within the trade of ships like "Flying Cloud" and "Sea Witch". But I digress. Just remember, romance takes work. It's so wonderful to see this lovely penning, Robert. How graceful, how intimate the notion of such a setting. You've been away this summer...it's our fall pleasure to welcome you home again! And how well you caught a certain "something close" to this writer. " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

What a wonderful read. I like the way you set the scene in preparation for the anticipated love letter. It's great to see your name here again. |

Oh, this is very lovely! It even makes me want to take off my antique desk all the piles of papers that wait to be ordered. Then I also want a tea and why not ... I might want to write in this special atmosphere the little poem I have in mind. Very inspiring!! Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

Write a letter of feelings now with the light in the corner cushioned and mellow turning the room to comfortable, but don’t forget to keep the curtain open for the moon and me. It's good to see you! |

Oh, I loved this beautiful scene and the delightful digression! Romance is a perfect blending of art and sincerity! We are now expecting to read the love letter that matches the high standard of the setting! I also love the picture Karilea posted and can understand exactly why she did. It has inspired me to post a very old poem, on not quite the same subject. - Owl [This message has been edited by OwlSA (09-21-2008 04:59 AM).] |
