We pass by without word. We pass each other without recognition. Everyone silenced by fear, Too many evils pass by with the good. Always uncertain of whom we will meet, Always too wrapped in ourselves. My life means more than yours, And to you yours is more than mine. But in life we are equals, Uncertainty and fear not prejudiced. And all the angels forgotten, Replaced by the demons of confusion. So here we remain, passing each other by, With too much fear to pass a word. "In Between" by Brian T Brewster now available on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble |

Sadly it a well-observed but true fact that we are all too wrapped up in ourselves to notice much about others. Well written. Do not go gentle into that good night. |
