It's hard to wrap my face around haiku's that aren't Japanesish because those are the kind I grew up reading, but this was very interesting and very good. ·´~`·»Garapan«·´~`· |

I have to confess, I'm not a fan of haiku, normally. I can't write 'em, and wince, I don't generally like the majority of the attempts I read. I think it's because I am actually a fan of the haiku to the extent that I hold it to a higher regard. And this, lovely lady, is one of those that makes me smile, as you captured that nature essence that I feel qualifies the true haiku. In other words? You hit a "homer"! It's good to see you again too lovie. Much enjoyed this--and I loved that it transcends the seasons--even though traditional haiku tends to depict such (arguably, no doubt) the fact that it is seasonless renders this timeless, and thus eternal. And I just used a lot of words to applaud a few...but you get a big hug and a "Brava!" from me! |
