At 8:46 am-………… At 9:03 am- the flight — ……….. the flight — A11 is —– ………….. UA 175—– engulfed — ……….. sinks —— at 710km — ……….. at 870km— / hour —- …………. / hour—— in the North ………. in the South tower—— ………….. tower—— people —– …………. America is— are trapped- ………. appalled—- the world—- ………. The images- is surprised– ………. are shocking- Questions— ………… Inconceivable drop——– …………… is the reality– as a rain—- ………… people wonder of fire—— …………… wonder again- an illusion— ………. of their own of cement— ………… madness—- TOWERS COLLAPSE, A MYTH RISES |

This brought back moment by moment the horror, the terror, the inhumanity. Your presentation of it, in little gasps, made it so real - something we want to remember and simultaneously want to shake it out of existence because reliving the horror feels just too much . . . - Owl |

It is almost a cliche to ask certain questions; - Where were you when John Kennedy was shot? - Where were you when John Lennon was shot? - Where were you when Princess Diana was killed? - Where were you when 9/11 happened? The "cliche" questions are all about killings and deaths. These shocks are implanted in our psyches. We remember them! If only we could change the world so that we can remember good things. If only.... A very effective poem 2islander2 - twin poems you could say. |

Thank you very much David, I agree that we remember when something like that happen and I perfectly know where I was when it happened.... Thank you for the very subtle title, I surely could have name this poem : the twins poem, it made me wonder... have a nice day yann |
