When all the world fades, When everything goes cold, When your faith departs you, When your life starts to fold. A time that begins to run out, A time the hourglass goes dry, A time of nothing to live for, A time to break down and cry. Betrayed by what you wished for, Betrayed by the strongest love, Betrayed by the ancient friend, Betrayed by the god above. If all the lights fail, If they all break free, If your mind freezes over, If you can never find me. The light shall come back to you, The light at the end of the world, The light to guide you home, The light to help you rebuild. Keep true to the beliefs you have, Keep true to the friends you hold, Keep true to everything dear, Keep true, and it all turns to gold. |

What a wonderful daydream. If only it all really turned to gold. Keep writing like this and - maybe it will. Do not go gentle into that good night. |
