My Angel Sent From Heaven. What a great woman you were indeed. As wife, mother and grandma you lead. Wise and warm hearted. Loving and carefree. Everything i wish to be. You were an extraordinary woman. Cards always commin my way. What sorrow and grief bestowed on that day. That day that my god took you away. I miss you so much my hearts in dismay. Today is the day i will stop crying. Even though inside im dying. You werent the same when i last saw you. I could only sit there and wish there was something i could do. I remember you telling me life goes by so fast. I never knew that day would be your last. As i look at your house i cant help but pout. beacause you told me this was comming but i was in doubt. I didnt get to say goodbye. I couldnt come to see you. Now i will live my life everyday to please you. [This message has been edited by sklagurl17 (09-09-2008 05:07 PM).] |

Welcome to PiP. I wish that you had titled your poem - we aren't shy about saying what we think. I do have a question. Why is "i" not capitalized in the poem? It seems as if it if it begins a sentence but not elsewhere. Again, welcome. Alison |

Welcome to Pip, dear Tabitha. I had such a great love for my grandmother too, just like you describe yours so beautifully. When we lose our loved ones, it is difficult, but remember the connection of love continues and you can feel it within your heart. I suggest you put in a title. (by pressing the edit icon on your post) "Tell me what you think" is a message you can add to the text of your post. I loved your first entry. Welcome to PIP. A very nice first post and I am sure you will find yourself growing in your poetry the longer you stay here and I look forward to seeing more of your works. I would suggest putting a title on your poem when you come up with one ( my first one didn't have a title either ). |
