She dreamed about Molière, he dreamed about gardens, she was his umbrella, he was her tragedy, the life sometimes unites the fates as the fire with the wood, the fire consumes the wood and the wood vanishes , when the wood has disappeared the fire dies in its turn. |

Ah what wisdom wrapped in so few words. It was a pleasure to read. Do not go gentle into that good night. |

It seems to me that you are able to combine your vivid imagination with superfine logic, lineal and very especially lateral thinking and the great wisdom that you have garnered from a deep sensitive awareness of life and conditions all around you, because, like your poem, "imagination", you have tamed and directed your gift of creativity towards developing your deep, unique philosophical thought, taking with you all the above elements - and the result of this artistic palette blend is your wonderful Yann-poetry which is as diverse as it is unique, and as beautiful as it is thought-provoking. Your word-painting of a couple is as wise as it is sad, and it seems so true in so many cases. However, being the eternal optimist, I believe that there are couples who are as deeply happy as they seem, and that that happiness is possible for everyone who firstly who does and is what he/she needs to/be; and secondly finds somebody who does and is what she/he needs to/be; and thirdly if the two are wise enough to see whether they are really suited; and fourthly if two such people who are suited, find each other. As tall an order as that is, I believe that if everyone is aware of the above (and the many complex and diverse implications that it entails particularly when it comes to specifics for the specific individuals), there would be many more deeply happy couples. Thank you for yet another beautiful and thought-provoking poem, Yann. - Owl |

Dear Owl, this comment is so gentle that I will copy it and record in my poetry file on my computer, I have already record a beautiful comment from another poet on this site and such comments mean a lot to me.... I deeply agree it was one couple and that couples can be different from this one... have a nice day yann |

Oh my, dear Yann, the flow of your thoughts has no flaws. It is of course a little bit cynic, but you bet that the majority of couples do consume each other. To live together requires great sensitivity, besides love and passion and how many combine these qualities? One of your finest! Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |
