Morning’s chill touched them as the distant sound of a lonesome loon trilled the darkness. She knew this would be his time, a time for a slight touch of love’s invitation...when hands held and eyes shimmered and waters fell delicately down a crystal fall. When a stolen breath hovers in wait. They both, she and he....knew that what was would always be and that which was not might never be. For, softly their breath mingled and stars caressed the eve ever lightly until the break of dawn’s rise, as the moon cried a lonesome tune....and he longed to see blue eyes that startled his heart and brought the lonesome loon ever closer to the tune of lonesome hearts that ache. |

Hi Barry, so very....one day I hope to hear a loon, maybe even write a poem about it, they seem to sensitive to the emotions of us humans. |
