When Bones was a few days old, his mother tossed him up in the air, and forgot to catch him. People say that’s the reason Bones is so good with numbers. Bobby |

Not sure if this was meant as tongue in cheek but again made me cringe~~ and was part of the reason for the previous responses. M |

M, No it wasn't tongue in cheek, it actually happened to me when I was a baby. I'm still good with numbers at age 72. Bobby |

well then Bobby, I am grateful that being good at numbers was the outcome of being dropped on your head or not caught rather than brain damage or death... I hope you understand that when I asked in the previous must we have compassion for the adults who offered the cigarette..I did not mean MUST as in being forced, but meant why should those who mistreat have any compassion..anyway I am done responding since your responses back seem to either misinterpret mine or are ambiguous with no reasoning in them to know what you are actually thinking. I will continue reading and enjoying your "tales" of city life. Respectfully, M |

Dear M, I try hard not to be "ambiguous". My mother raised me as a single parent, and she loved me dearly, and I loved, and respected her. She died at 83 back about 7 years ago. Love Bobby |

I guess my mother should have dropped me on my head. Math was never my best subject. Ida |

Thanks dear Ida, I'm sure that you are better at math than you let on. Everyone has their own "thing". For Bones it was his skill with numbers. Love Bobby |
