the dream... someone that would hold her and make her feel safe, warm, and loved. the wish... someone that she could love but not get attached to so she wouldnt get hurt. the reality... someone that has her, all of her, but makes her feel like thats a good thing. the beggining... small conversations, a movie night at her house, and a small kiss on the cheek. the middle... hugs, kisses, movies, car rides, dancing in the living room, tears, laughter, and plenty of smiles. the end... something that will eventualy go horribly wrong, but that she cant see at the moment. the friends... some like them together, some dont at all, and some are just happy that for once she is too. the family... some he sees more than others, but they all love him, even with his slight mental malfunctions. the rest... some stop and stare when theyre doing something stupid but its just good clean fun to them. the past... things that went wrong, terribly wrong, but were fixed in the end, sort of. the present... things that leave her laughing, giggling, and wanting more time to share. the future... things that will probably end up with either biting or someone licking a nose. the days... usualy spent talking fast between class changes and quick hugs goodbye. the afternoons... usualy spent cuddling on a couch in a living room playing video games, laughing. the nights... usualy spent talking online or on the phone, ending with her being told to go to bed. the good... playing tag at the playground, laying in his arms, and tickle fights that she has no chance of winning. the bad... small arguements about stupid things that were done once upon a time. the rest... small moments in time that mean the world to her, and hopefully to him too. the boy... creative, outspoken, ingenious, talented, beautiful in all ways. he says he loves her. the girl... confused, a little odd, scared, hyper, and angry most of the time. she says she loves him too. the couple... maybe they will last, maybe they wont, right now that doesnt really matter. all that matters is that theyre happy. |

The final lines say it all. Everyone's idea of what is "happy" is different but, in the end, happiness is all that matters - how true. Do not go gentle into that good night. |

I very much enjoyed this piece and it's content. I really liked how you divided it up into somewhat of a "chapter" style. It added both to the read and the visual aspect. Your thoughts were conveyed well and as the reader I enjoyed it from top to bottom. Well done. |
