Learning to love, is such a journey. It means, staying when you want to run. Understanding the other, and remembering why you are there. Learning to love, takes time and patience. Not quick to run, but slowing down. I have always run, it's what I know. But the sky has cleared, and the sun is shining. My roots, are beginning to grab hold. It means being understanding, of others and yourself. Slowing, to smell the roses. A journey, worth while. A journey, of a lifetime. Love, understand, and give of yourself, freely. |

Yes, ladylisa It takes all of the above and more - but worth every minor (or major) heartache along the way |

Thank you for your comments. I am trying to learn this, but a lifetime of lies sometimes makes it hard. Lis |

My thoughts exactly and, yes, it can take a long time to learn about love but I reckon the effort is worth it. Enjoyed! Helen |

Dear Helen, Thank you for the words. Yes love is learned sometimes later in life. I always refer to couples who have had long lives together and their stories inspire me, that they have endured so much and yet are so dedicated to eachother. A lesson I am learning. lis |
