If Only You Knew Today as I watched You walk down the street Knowing I would not see You for two long weeks My heart, it immediately Cried out for your touch I drove away with my eye In the rear view mirror I’ll dream about that touch, Each and every night Dream of that voice, It makes my heart take flight I wrote you a poem For you to remember All that is back home I hope you will remember You made me promise A new girl I will have none Don’t worry about that, babe For with that, I am done. Quite a long time We’ve known each other now. Been through so much, but little too So much I need to say, if only you knew So much I need to say, There’s not enough time in each day We’d be here for years, But have no fear Most of what I need to say, Can be summed up into a quick two Words; Oh I really, really Do love you too. |

I really like this poem. You can feel the emotions of saying good bye to someone. I really like this line: I drove away with my eye In the rear view mirror |
