Of A Sweet Parisian Girl

In my dreams I
was back to nineteen,
my hopes and desires,
my youthful looks restored
as before when I was in Paris
with the young girl I adored,
believing I was living
on the top of the World.
In my mind I was
God's gift to girls,
but I was only a
romantic young thing,
not really knowing a thing
but willing to give everything
for a kiss upon the lips
of a sweet Parisian girl.

hi  james,  a  lovely  and  romantic  poem.
In France we say : si jeunesse savait, si vieillesse pouvait...
it's wisdom and means :
if The Youth knew, if the Old age could...

it seems that many of us dream of times of walking down Parsienne walkways, enjoyed this greatly. It put a big smile on my face...

I've been to Paris 3 times and wouldn't mind going 10 more times...at one time I wanted to retire there but I have different thoughts now...James

Great poem James, it brought back memories of a long time ago when we climbed the

Eiffel Tower and went to the Moulin Rouge

Roniece you are a blessed woman to take so many journeys to Paris...ooh September in Paris...I know you will have a pleasurable time...my trips this year will probably be to the Big Island and California...
Lindsay I also enjoyed visiting those special places in Paris...James
