I do not know how to explain
The importance of you here
I couldn’t go without you
Our friendship is so dear

I have known you forever
And I’ll never let you down
Because you are my best friend
I never want to see you frown

We grew up with each other
From little kids to teenagers
We have so many memories
The importance of you here is major

You are just like a sister
Someone there when I need
A shoulder to cry on
Or just someone to lead

The laughs we have together
Could never compare
To all those other people
The friendship that we share

Thank you for being the one
That I share this friendship with
It gives me another reason
For why I am here to live
