You should see my mountain, There's beauty everywhere It's down in Alabama A site beyond compare Leaves of many colors, Beauty extraordinaire, Natures glory showing For all of us to share. Chameleons can change color Lilacs turn to blue Spring brings out how nature Can change to glorious hues. There's little that can compare To what our eyes can see, It can't be purchased anywhere, That God gives us for free. Kodak cannot reproduce, The colors that he'll show-ya Nor a box of simple crayons Offered from Crayola Colors hallucinogenic And no drugs you have to take Just look down off my mountain God's splendor can't be faked. |

And you said in another post that you never claimed to be a poet. This is pretty poetic and very lovely. I have never thought I would want to go to Alabama ... until now. Alison |

Toe the Mountain Man I would like to see Toe's mountain, For all it's beauty everywhere, So I'm heading for Alabama With lilacs in my hair. In this place of many colors, Dwells a man extraordinaire. He's a piece of Natural glory, All women would like to share. Most men are just chameleons, But Toe's a man true blue. He rises the sap in women, And their cheeks turn pink in hue. There's little that can compare, To what their eyes can see, For what he has comes naturally And God gave it to him, free. Kodak cannot do him justice. His beauty, it just can't show-ya. Nor can a box of crayons, from that company, Crayola. His virility's hallucinogenic, There are no drugs, that men can take To make them like this mountain man, ~ Toe's splendor can't be faked. Author Unknown P.S. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. ~ You really did write a divine poem! |
